Karen
Durfee
Karen was born
in Phoenix, AZ. In 1964, her parents and seven brothers
and sisters moved into the Mesa home she still lives in
today. She is the mother of five children: Alicia, Cassie,
Trenton(the only boy), Annie, and Lynnsi.
Although Hemstitching
is her passion, Karen also likes to dabble in many things
like cooking, church girls camp, and quilting. She has been
a Wilton Cake Decorating teacher and is a certified Doula
(birth assistant) who makes birth more comfortable for moms
and dads.
Karen married
her first and only love, Russ Durfee, in 1984. He is the
most supportive husband anyone could ever want. Without
his support and love this business would not exist. Thank
you Russ!
