If
you have never crocheted before, try just following my instruction
sheet. This is so much easier than you think. Make
sure you have the right thread and a #5 or #6 metal hook.
Relax and think loose. Most threads will shrink when you
wash them, so loose is good.
If you
can't seem to get the hang of it, call me. I am serious!
I can teach most stitches over the phone. The biggest mistake
I see is that we all are perfectionists. We want it to look
perfect when perfection really doesn't matter. Just keep
moving. When you have done a section and it is tight then
loose and tight then loose, don't worry about it. It will
even out with just a simple tug.
You
may want to buy a book on "How to learn to crochet in one
simple lesson" or something like that. It will have pictures
and simple steps that you can follow. Also, when a pattern
calls for something you have never heard of you can look
it up in the book and figure it out.
If you
are still confused Call Me!! Just have your work
in your hand and I can teach you over the phone.
Relax
and have fun. People do this for relaxation, not added stress!
